HTX-034: Currently in a Phase Ib/II clinical study with bunionectomy patients, designed for managing postoperative pain. Founded in 1983, the company initially operated as A.P. Pharma, Inc. before adopting the name Heron Therapeutics, Inc. in January 2014. Its corporate headquarters are situated in San Diego, California.
