Additionally, it extends grain drying and storage solutions to agricultural producers. The Partnership segment is dedicated to delivering services for fuel storage and transportation. As of December 31, 2021, Green Plains Inc.'s infrastructure included 29 facilities for ethanol storage, 4 fuel terminal sites, and a substantial fleet comprising approximately 2,300 leased railcars. The company, originally known as Green Plains Renewable Energy, Inc., officially changed its name to Green Plains Inc. in May 2014.
