Entergy's diverse energy portfolio for electricity generation includes natural gas, nuclear power, coal, hydroelectric, and solar sources. The company distributes its energy to a wide array of clients, such as retail power providers, public utilities, electric power cooperatives, energy trading firms, and other power generation companies. Collectively, the corporation's power plants possess an approximate generating capacity of 26,000 megawatts (MW), with 6,000 MW originating from nuclear sources.
