Affimed N.V. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of cancer immunotherapies, with operations spanning the United States, Germany, and the rest of Europe. The company's primary investigational therapy, AFM13, has successfully completed a Phase II clinical study for peripheral T-cell lymphoma. This same candidate is also currently undergoing Phase IIa clinical trials for CD30-positive lymphoma and is in Phase I trials for Hodgkin lymphoma. Beyond its lead product, Affimed is advancing several other promising pipeline compounds. AFM24, a tetravalent, bispecific innate cell engager designed to target both epidermal growth factor receptors and CD16A, is presently in Phase IIa clinical trials for the treatment of various advanced cancers. Founded in 2000, Affimed N.V. was initially known as Affimed Therapeutics B.V. before officially changing its name in October 2014. Its corporate headquarters are located in Heidelberg, Germany.
